Barnstorming for Democracy

On Sunday September 18th, East Nantmeal community members gathered at the Wren’s barn to meet and hear from our Democratic candidates and their representatives at our 5th annual Barnstorming for Democracy event. Surprise guest US House Assistant Speaker Katherine Clark spoke in support of our own Congresswoman Chrissy Houlahan, pointing out the work Chrissy has done to support our values, veterans, health care reform, etc.

Other candidates also spoke, including Paul Friel for PA State House, Senator Katie Muth for PA Senate, and Marian Moskowitz on behalf of Josh Shapiro for PA Governor. (John Fetterman’s representative was diagnosed with COVID the day before and could not attend, unfortunately).

Approximately 50 community members of all parties joined in the fun. Live music was provided by Acoustic Trio.

Hope to see you next year!
